Celebrations of Success, Culture, and Community at Leading Advice

Melbourne Cup Day Highlights

Melbourne Cup Day – the race that stops Australia – gave us a fantastic opportunity to pause, reconnect with familiar faces, and build new friendships. The Leading Advice team embraced the tradition, joining the warm and welcoming Financial Elements team at the Albion Hotel in Parramatta for a festive Melbourne Cup lunch. Fancy dress and light-hearted rivalries filled the day as we cheered for whimsically named horses, sharing in the excitement. Special thanks to Richard from Financial Elements, who played a pivotal role in organizing the delicious lunch and hosting the event. It was a memorable day of connection, camaraderie, and Aussie spirit, and we’re already looking forward to continuing our partnership with Financial Elements and celebrating next year’s Melbourne Cup together.

Jeans for Genes Fundraising Event

Our advisers, Gerard and Katrina, proudly supported the local fun run at the Ryde Eastwood Leagues, raising funds for Jeans for Genes Australia. Their participation in this community event helped raise awareness and contribute to a great cause, supporting vital research for genetic diseases affecting children.

We are thrilled to celebrate Srinivas, who recently graduated with a Master’s in Banking and Finance from Macquarie University. The occasion was even more special as his parents travelled all the way from India to join him in this proud moment. Celebrating Diwali: A Feast of Tradition, Joy, and Togetherness

Our office lit up with joy and vibrant colours as we celebrated Diwali together. We shared the warmth of the festival with a feast of delicious Indian food from, biryani, sago pudding and Andhra pradesh sweet “rice paper & palm sugar roll ups”.The fragrance of spices filled the air, bringing a true taste of tradition to the occasion. As we enjoyed the meal and each other’s company, the celebration brought us closer, creating wonderful memories and reminding us of the joy that comes from sharing festive moments together.
